Sea purslane is a coastal halophyte that aids in geomorphological stabilization. This model analyzes the 'grappler' behavior of sea purslane, where by the plant traps and tolerates salt spray deposition and burial by accreting sand, thus creating coppice mounds. The non-linear, unpredictable dynamic growth patterns of the plant is also explored.
