Jewels: turquoise necklace from a market in Italy; turquoise and sterling silver bracelets from Mexico; David Yurman; LArocks
A messy bun, smock-like shirt, ripped jeans, and funky jewels definitely screams "weird art teacher." I am completely okay with this because all my art and architecture teachers have been fashionistas in their own right, like my 12th grade art history teacher Mrs. Politzer. Fashion is a form of self-expression: it conveys a spirit of our time, while also expressing a person's unique individuality. Cheers to all of my art and architecture teachers out there, as well as my fellow fashionistas - our brave endeavors to embrace eclecticism will change the world.
